The telescope optics: Skywatcher Startravel telescopes are 2-element, air-spaced achromatic refractors, perfect for wide-field observation of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies and planets, the moon and the sun (with safe, suitable filters) as well as nature observation during the day. This wide-field telescope with its short tube can also be used with a fixed aperture for astrophotography or terrestrial photography. Its fast focal ratio makes it ideal for lunar and solar eclipse photography as well as nature photography. The telescope mount: This smallest equatorial mount from Skywatcher, optionally fully equipped with motors and GoTo, corresponds to the structure of the larger models. You can use the flexible shafts to adjust and track the object in the telescope. You can loosen the clamps on the axes for quick movement.
