Skywatcher telescope Evostar 120 with EQ5 mount

The optics: Sky-Watcher Evostar telescopes are classic 2-element air-gap achromatic refractors. The optics have been multiply coated. They convince with an exceptional, high performance and high resolution and were manufactured to the highest standards with optical and mechanical precision. With the large focal length and breathtaking, diffraction-limited optics, they are ideal for detailed, highly magnified observation of the moon, planets and other objects in the solar system with crisp, high-contrast images. The mount: The very stable Sky-Watcher EQ5 equatorial mount offers excellent precision and stability and also provides the experienced astronomer with many useful functions. The mount rests on a large, adjustable tripod with stainless steel legs and tray for accessories. It is equipped with a spirit level for leveling and a pole height adjustment with a micrometer scale as well as an azimuth adjustment for pole adjustment. Furthermore, it has engraved graduated circles and control buttons for manual tracking. A polar finder scope is available as an option for precise alignment with the celestial pole. The mount can also optionally be retrofitted with a tracking in RA or both axes and a SynScan GoTo control.
