The telescope optics: Skywatcher Startravel telescopes are 2-element, air-spaced achromatic refractors, perfect for wide-field observation of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies and planets, the moon and the sun (with safe, suitable filters) as well as nature observation during the day. This wide-field telescope with its short tube can also be used with a fixed aperture for astrophotography or terrestrial photography.
