The light, transportable Skywatcher Explorer 130PS AZ-GTi has a built-in WLAN module to be controlled with your smartphone or tablet with the free SynScan app for iOS and Android. The AZ-GTi mount creates its own WiFi network, so it can be used anywhere without being dependent on third-party WiFi networks. After entering your coordinates into the app, perform a simple alignment procedure and you’re ready to explore the universe using the easy-to-use touchscreen menu. Together with the SynScan app, the AZ-GTi is a fully computer-controlled GoTo mount that can automatically guide your telescope to any desired object from the built-in, extensive database of over 10,000 celestial objects. The mount is equipped with the patented Skywatcher Freedom-Find™ double encoder technology, which allows the telescope to be moved manually in both axes without losing the stored position data. This gives the user enormous freedom and allows convenient and flexible observation. With its powerful, superb 130 mm parabolic mirror, the Explorer 130PS is a versatile all-rounder for observing the moon, bright planets, but also nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.
