The SkyWatcher Starquest series consists of a lightweight combination of high-quality telescopes and a practical equatorial mount in a new design. The mount is equipped with 2 powerful couplings and contains precision gears with a worm wheel equipped with 122 teeth in both axes for high stability and a payload of up to 3 kg. Once you have aligned the mount with the celestial pole, it allows you to easily track the celestial objects with the easy-to-use flexible waves.
The set also includes the Starquest-102R refractor, a 2-lens airgap achromatic achromat, which with its short focal ratio is perfect as a wide-field instrument for observing comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies but also planets and moon. The set also includes the height-adjustable aluminium tripod.
