Fringe Killer 2″ – increase in contrast and reduction of color errors
for refractors: The Fringe Killer is a further development of the
simple minus violet filter. He leaves a little more of the light component
through in the blue, so that the image is not colored as strongly.
In addition, the contrast is significantly increased.
For all refractors from 70mm aperture to 150mm aperture – when it comes to
a moderate reduction of the chromatic aberration goes, with simultaneous
increase in contrast.
Areas of application:
Moon and planets: the contrast is increased, the recognition finer
detail increases
Earth observation: here, too, the contrast is increased
Double stars: the resolution increases because of the color fringe around the stars
is reduced.
Astrophotography: here, too, the contrast increases and the stars become
smaller. IR is completely blocked.
