The completely new, enhanced Honders Catadioptric Mini Astrograph HAC125DX is the smallest and brightest astrograph you will find.
The improved Honders Catadioptric optical design with hybrid refractive and reflective surfaces, enabled the development of the sharpest, brightest and lightest Catadioptric astrograph.
This Sky-Watcher Honders Catadioptric (HAC) telescope is perfect for demanding astrophotographers who want a fast astrograph for wide field photography in a compact and lightweight device. Unlike small refractor astrographs, the HAC125DX offers a fast f/2 aperture ratio, giving you 5 times faster exposure times than standard f/4.9 optics. With this enormous speed, you can collect more data in less time and autoguiding is no longer necessary.
Compared to the original HAC125, the HAC125DX is equipped with a rear focus mechanism on the primary mirror. This allows you to choose between many more cameras and makes focusing much easier. The telescope produces a 16mm image circle, ideal for cameras with IMX533 and 585 sensors. The telescope is only 40cm long with dew cap, providing a powerful photo platform for both beginners and experienced astrophotographers.
