After entering the coordinates into the app and going through the simple alignment procedure, you’re ready to explore the universe using the app’s intuitive touchscreen menu. The Skywatcher Star Discovery 90i with the SynScan app enables fully computer-controlled GoTo control of the mount and automatically moves your telescope to any object that you have selected from the app’s extensive database of over 10,000 objects. The mount features Skywatcher’s patented Freedom-Find™ dual-encoder technology, which allows the mount to be moved freely by hand without losing position and alignment data.
