Skywatcher 100mm (4”) F/900 ED Apochromatic Refractor Telescope
The telescope optics: The Skywatcher Evostar DS Pro telescope series has the same premium optics as our – meanwhile – legendary Equinox ED apochromatic refractors, which, thanks to their obstruction-free optics, produce diffraction patterns like textbooks. They have the sharpest image and offer the highest quality of imaging. These high-end telescopes all have a doublet lens. One element is made from high-quality extra-low dispersion (ED) glass. This virtually eliminates chromatic aberration to deliver true color reproduction. Top quality glass is also used for the crown glass element. State-of-the-art dielectric coating of each air-glass lens surface to guarantee optimal light output, achieving approximately 99.5% light transmission with the anti-reflective metallic coating. Sky-Watcher’s own “Metallic High Transmission Coating” (MHC) is one of the best in its field.
