The new Acuter Voyager MAK80 telescope is a high-quality Maksutov Cassegrain reflector telescope with 80mm aperture. This compact and easily transportable telescope is ideal for observing and learning the starry sky, as well as photography with your own smartphone. But also observe and photograph nature, e.g. distant birds and insects or simply take it with you on your next holiday trip.

The set consists of an 80mm Maksutov Cassegrain telescope with 800mm focal length, a 40x and 80x magnifying eyepiece, an optical 8×21 viewfinder, a particularly high-quality, phase-corrected 90° roof prism with image straightening as well as a smartphone adapter and a carrying case. The set comes in an attractive gift box with a carrying handle for easy transport. The telescope can be expanded as required with optionally available standard 1.25″ telescope eyepieces. This gives you even more diverse options. You can use the telescope with the standard 1/4″ photo thread connection on any existing photo tripod, but with the permanently mounted dovetail bar according to Vixen/Sky-Watcher standard also on astronomical mounts.

The Maksutov telescope is named after Dmitri Maksutov (1896 – 1964), a Russian optician and astronomer who introduced this telescope design in 1941. The Acuter Voyager MAK80 is perfect for discovering the world of the universe in its footsteps!
