This sturdy mount offers high precision and stability along with the ability to expand further for the experienced astronomer. The mount sits on a large, adjustable aluminum tripod with a shelf. A spirit level allows the mount to be leveled quickly and accurately. Fine movement knobs allow continuous manual tracking of celestial objects. The mount includes 360° tracking gears in both axes (RA and DEC). Metal graduated circles allow objects to be set quickly using celestial coordinates. A polar finder scope is available as an option for more accurate polar alignment.
