Skywatcher Startravel telescopes are 2-element, air-spaced achromatic refractors perfect for wide-field observing of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies and planets, the moon and sun (with safe, suitable filters), and nature observation during the day. This wide-field telescope with its short tube can also be used with a fixed aperture for astrophotography or terrestrial photography. Its fast focal ratio makes it ideal for lunar and solar eclipse photography as well as nature photography. The telescope mount: The intuitive and easy-to-use azimuthal AZ3 mount offers high stability and precise control of the telescope via two flexible adjustment shafts in the horizontal and vertical directions.
