The prisms are phase corrected and silver coated for improved light transmission and contrast. The binoculars are waterproof and filled with nitrogen for a clear view and no fogging. The eyecups are adjustable and well suited for people who wear glasses. On the outside, the Helios binoculars have a protective rubber armor.
