This drive set for both axes of the mount with Sky-Watcher’s new, improved hand control box is necessary for long exposures in astrophotography but also very useful for visual observation. It precisely controls the tracking speed and thus compensates for the earth’s rotation for long exposures of celestial objects. The new improved hand control box has an ST4 interface for autoguiders such as the Sky-Watcher Synguider. Various tracking speeds for sun, moon and sidereal can be set, as well as correction speeds of 0.5x, 2x and 16x. For more convenient operation, you can swap the hand control buttons for up/down, left/right to match the moving direction of the telescope.
