Skywatcher Startravel telescopes are 2-element, air-spaced achromatic refractors perfect for wide-field observing of comets, star fields, star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies and planets, the Moon and the Sun (with safe, suitable filters) as well as daytime nature viewing when in use an Amici prism (optionally available). This wide-field telescope with its short tube can also be used with a fixed aperture for astrophotography or terrestrial photography. Its fast focal ratio makes it ideal for lunar and solar eclipse photography as well as nature photography.
