The telescope optics: The Skywatcher Skyliner-200P Flextube SynScan GoTo Dobsonian telescope contains a 200mm parabolic Newtonian optics. With the large aperture, it is very well suited to observing weaker deep sky objects in high resolution and contrast. But planets, the moon and all other astronomical objects in the night sky are also a lot of fun. The telescope mount: In combination with the performance of the large telescope tube, the particularly easy to transport, patented, collapsible FlexTube design with the SynScan computer GoTo control brings over 42,900 objects in the sky to your eyes and automatically tracks them – as easy as taking a walk through the park! The patented dual-encoder design allows the telescope to be manually moved anytime and anywhere without losing the system’s calibration. You don’t have to wait forever for the telescope to locate a new object in the sky, you can simply move it in by hand and then let the computer take over the exact positioning.
