Baader 2″ O-III Filter – 10nm narrow band filter (10nmHBW) – for
extreme increase in contrast when observing nebulae.
in the[OIII] -Light of the doubly ionized oxygen unfold them
interesting nebula special structures. But also in gas mists are
often[O III] -Regions stored. So a gas mist with the[O- III] filters show completely different structures than with the UHC filter
or even without a filter. The Baader O-III is particularly tight, it has
only 10 nm bandwidth. We recommend the use from about 200mm opening.
Below that, only small enlargements make sense (but definitely
possible). It is a very good addition to the broadband UHC-S
Filters by Baader.
Plano-optically polished surfaces, hard-coated, 10 nm transmission window
in the[O III] -Range at 501nm, 2″ filter thread, aluminum frame,
profiled edge, substrate 2mm thick.
