The Mount: The easy-to-use Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer offers many different combinations to meet all your astrophotography and time-lapse photography needs. It is a highly precise, portable and stable tracking platform with sidereal, solar and lunar tracking and an automatic remote shutter release for your DSLR camera. But it can do even more: it comes with pre-programmed parameters to help you record interesting time-lapse videos with your DSLR. The Star Adventurer photo set contains the mount, an adapter for connecting a ball head and an illuminated polar finder scope. Sky-Watcher remote release cables for most well-known camera models can be purchased as an option. The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer can be mounted on any standard photo tripod with a 1/4″ or 3/8″ screw. The polar height can be adjusted with the tripod head of your tripod or, more precisely, with the optionally available polar wedge. To mount your camera you should use a ball head (not included) or better use the optional L bracket. This also allows small telescopes such as the SkyMax-90 to be used on the Star Adventurer with an optional counterweight. A small telescope and camera can also be mounted at the same time.
